The Six Year Anniversary of My Time in Tent City

Over the course of one weekend in early June 2013, I managed to lose 15 lbs. This amazing weight loss plan was brought to me by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. It is something I rarely ever talk about, and I’m pretty sure I’ve never written about it. But for 44 hours, I was a resident of the infamous Phoenix Tent City jail.
